Maria Brízida Tomé

Associate Researcher

Maria Brízida Tomé holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from ISAG-European Business School and a Master of Finance and Accounting from ISCAP - Porto Accounting and Business School-Polytechnic of Porto.
She worked for 38 years as a Purchasing and Internationalisation director in several multinational companies. Member of governing bodies of several non-profit associations, having played roles as member of the supervisory board, treasurer and secretary of the board.
Researcher in Social Economy, she is a associate researcher of CEOS.PP - Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto. She has published several studies and book chapters, mainly focused on Social Economy, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, and has participated in several thematic seminars and national and international conferences, as well as in projects developed in CEOS.PP Social Economy area.
