CEOS.PP SCHOLARSHIP HOLDER AT MCIS & CAPSI 2024

Jéssica Carneiro, a research fellow at CEOS.PP, presented her doctoral research plan and an article at MCIS & CAPSI 2024.




Digital Transformation in the Agri-Food Sector through the Implementation of Blockchain Technology to Improve Traceability in Agriculture: A Case Study Applied to the Ibero-American Blockchain and Cybersecurity Network, the doctoral research plan of Jéssica Carneiro, a research fellow at CEOS.PP, was released on 2 October, as part of the MCIS and CAPSI 2024 Doctoral and Junior Faculty Consortium 2024.


The researcher also presented A Bibliometric Anaylisis of the Literature on Blockchain, on the first day (3 October) of the joint MCIS & CAPSI 2024 conference, as part of the parallel sessions of CAPSI 2024. The article focuses on the bibliometric analysis of Blockchain, highlighting the trends in this area, namely the most productive countries, collaboration between authors and countries, the most frequent keywords, the areas with the highest number of contributions and the sustainable development goals proposed by the UN. It was developed in collaboration with Ana Azevedo, Ana Paula Afonso and Amanda Zetzsche, researchers at CEOS.PP.


Jéssica Carneiro reveals that this experience ‘is very enriching for all the PhD students and promotes the sharing of knowledge and suggestions for improvement for future research work with Information Systems professionals’.
