CEOS.PP at Interreg initiative on Artificial Intelligence

Researchers Maria José Angélico Gonçalves and Rui Humberto Pereira, from CEOS.PP, are taking part in the initiative “Research and Use of Statistical Data with Artificial Intelligence”, which forms part of the European programme Interreg Spain-Portugal (POCTEP).

About the Event
The initiative is taking place as part of the REDE_GOV_MINHO – Cross-Border Minho River Governance Network project and aims to strengthen knowledge and skills in the research, analysis and use of statistical data using Artificial Intelligence tools.
With sessions in Valença and O Porriño, the initiative promotes cooperation between Portugal and Spain and the sharing of knowledge regarding new tools for working with and interpreting data.
Researchers from CEOS.PP are leading the course ‘Research and Use of Statistical Data with Artificial Intelligence’ on 15 and 16 September, from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm, at the Valença Municipal Library.
The initiative is organised as part of the Interreg Spain–Portugal (POCTEP) programme, which supports cross-border cooperation projects between the two countries, reinforcing the centre’s commitment to applied research and knowledge transfer, and bringing research closer to the specific challenges faced by organisations and regions.
