RESEARCH OPEN DAY 2025

CEOS.PP is organising Research Open Day, dedicated to ISCAP Master's students, to celebrate Researchers' Night. The event, which will take place on 6 October, starting at 6:30 p.m., in the ISCAP Auditorium 1, aims to raise awareness of the various areas of scientific knowledge and academic research practices, providing an open space for the exchange of ideas between researchers and students.

PROGRAMME:

6:30 p.m. — Welcome Speech & Young Researcher Award

CEOS.PP welcomes all future researchers and launches the Young Researcher Award, dedicated to

6:45 p.m. — Young Researchers Club

Presentation of the Young Researchers Club, led by Rui Bertuzi, deputy director of CEOS.PP, with the aim of awakening scientific initiation and developing scientific culture and skills. The Club promises to launch challenges and promote opportunities, but also offers informal moments such as the Club Café, to share scientific knowledge and establish partnerships between young people and senior researchers. The initiative aims to involve students in research projects in order to enrich their curriculum, supporting them throughout their research development process.

7:00 p.m. — Research Workshop: Research in Action

This workshop, led by Elif Göksu Öztürk and Adalberto Fernandes, assistant researchers at CEOS.PP, will engage participants in the fundamentals that any researcher must master in order to analyse quantitative data and build solid arguments.

The event is free and subject to prior REGISTRATION. A certificate will be issued to all participants.
