Ana Isabel Couto

Associate Researcher

She holds a Bachelor of Sociology from FLUP and a PhD in the same field from ISCTE. She is a professor at ISCAP-P.PORTO and in other public higher education institutions, namely at FEP - University of Porto. With extensive experience in research, she is a researcher at CEOS.PP and at IS-UP, coordinating the TEPO - Trabalho, Emprego, Profissões e Organizações research line. The main fields of work and research are Corporate and Social Responsibility, Labour Market, SMEs and Entrepreneurship, Gender Studies and WLB. She has participated in several national and international conferences and is author and co-author of scientific publications in these fields. Member of the Technical Evaluation team of the 8th and 9th editions of the "Equality is Quality" prize, promoted by CITE, she has also collaborated in a reference consultancy, having integrated in 2013/2014 the national team responsible for the development of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Portugal and Angola 2013 and participated in studies of public policies evaluation. In December 2022, she ended the coordination of the national team involved in the European project EMBRACE- European Corporate Social Entrepreneurship Curriculum.
