Ana Paula Afonso

Ana Paula Afonso has been a senior lecturer in the scientific area of Informatics at ISCAP since 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Mathematics-Applied to Informatics, a Master of Information Systems, a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, and is a senior lecturer in Information Sciences, with a specialisation in Information Systems. She is author of several technical books in the field of Informatics.
She was general director of CEISE / STI, Centre for Research and External Services in Information Systems and Technologies at ISCAP, vice director of the Polissema journal, ISCAP's journal of letters, and president of the Pedagogical Council of ISCAP.
She is a scientific committee member of several conferences and journals. She has won an award for a co-authored paper on E-Learning, and several of her conference papers have been selected for publication in extended versions, special issues of Computer Science and Engineering as well as Telematics and Informatics (Elsevier).
