PhD in Financial Economics and Accounting, University of Vigo; Master of Finance, Portucalense University of Porto; Bachelor of Accounting and Administration - Financial Control, ISCAP/IPP.
Professor of Accounting at ISCAP/IPP since 2000.
Research Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of Polytechnic Institute of Porto, and NECE-Research Centre for Business Sciences of the University of Beira Interior.
Her research interests are International Financial Accounting, Financial Economics, Earnings Management, Ethics and Corporate Governance and Sustainability with articles published in scientific journals and conferences. She is a peer reviewer and member of scientific committees. Director of the Portuguese Association of Accountants, Member of the General Council of the Portuguese Accounting Standards Committee and member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA).
