Jorge Manuel Pereira Duque is a professor of Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Extraction from Data, Fundamentals of Business Intelligence and Data Analysis, and Project Management at ISLA – IPGT, and of Information Systems and Parallel Programming at the Lusófona University. He holds a PhD from the Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro University UTAD since 2018. He is director of the Bachelor of IT for Electronic Commerce, coordinator of the postgraduate course in Analytics and Business Data Science and coordinator of the research lines in IT at ISLA - IPGT. His research work focuses on the area of Data Science, which involves the use of statistical and computational methods to extract insights and knowledge from data. He has experience in Programming, Statistics and Machine Learning. He has participated in conferences as member of the scientific committee and reviewer. He has published in several conferences and journals.
