Manuel Moreira da Silva is the current president of ISCAP. He has been a senior lecturer in the area of Languages since 1998. Member of the Strategic Research Council of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. President of the Executive Committee of the Association of Language Centres in Higher Education in Portugal (ReCLes.pt). PhD in Linguistics from the FCSH of UNL. Coordinates the CLOE Research Unit. Represents ISCAP at CCRVA - Centre of Competence in Virtual and Augmented Reality of P.Porto. Participates and has participated in more than 15 national and European projects, currently coordinating the DIGITOOLS - Innovative Tools for Enhancing E-Learning Solutions in Universities and VRP4Youth - Innovative Integration between Virtual Reality and Rapid Prototyping for Youth projects. Author and co-author of dozens of journal articles and several indexed scientific books or conference proceedings. Manuel Moreira da Silva was co-editor of the POLISSEMA journal - Journal of Letters of ISCAP and co-editor in chief of the Tecnologias Informação e Comunicação journal (RTIC). He is currently co-editor of e3, Revista de Economia, Empresas e Empreendedores at CPLP. He collaborates with several scientific committees of indexed journals and national and international conferences, having been Keynote speaker and chair of international events.
