Associate Researcher

PhD, master's, licentiate and specialist in Law, he is a lecturer in the area of Law at the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP/P.PORTO) and a researcher at CEOS.PP. He has over 35 years' experience in higher education, which began in 1987 at ISCAP/P.PORTO. Throughout this period he has held various management positions at this institution, starting as Secretary (Director of Services), coordinating the administrative services, then Vice President and finally President, a position he held between 2010 and 2018. He has also been a lawyer and business manager, as well as a leader of various associations. As a researcher, he has focussed his research on the education sector, particularly higher education, on topics related to: Higher education policies; Leadership in higher education; Strategies for higher education.
