Associate Researcher

Patrícia Alexandra Gregório Ramos is a senior lecturer in the scientific area of Mathematics at the Porto Accounting and Business School, Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal, and an associate researcher at CEOS.PP - Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of Polytechnic of Porto, and INESC TEC - Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science. Her research areas include Business Intelligence & Analytics using Statistics, Econometrics and Artificial Intelligence. She is keenly interested in areas of Applications associated with Organisations and Supply Chains, such as Demand Forecasting, Promotional Modelling and Uncertainty in Inventory Management. Furthermore, she has been involved in multiple research projects with the industry and public sector, with these collaborations being a key driver behind her research. She teaches first and second cycle courses in Mathematics, Statistics and Econometrics, and is director of the postgraduate course in Business Analytics at the Porto Executive Academy, ISCAP. She is the author of several publications indexed in scientific conferences and journals, and member of the International Institute of Forecasters.
