Rúben Folha

Associate Researcher

Rúben Folha is a PhD student in Intelligent and Adaptive Software Systems at the University of Vigo (UVIGO), holds a master's degree in Digital Communication Consulting (ISCAP/PPORTO) and a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication Technologies (ESMAD/PPORTO). He's a researcher at CEOS.PP – Centre for Organisational and Social Studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. A trainer at IEFP, CINEL, CFPIC and CESAE Digital, he teaches in the areas of information systems, multimedia and digital skills.
Between 2013 and 2025, he was part of IKEA's Communication and Interior Design Department, where he worked as a Graphic Communication and Online Content Specialist, having been one of those responsible for the implementation and training of IKEA's Content Management System – Zeta Display. His areas of research interest are: Information Technologies and Systems, Human-Computer Interfaces (HCI).
