Alexandra Leandro

Alexandra Leandro is a professor of Communication Sciences, Media and Organisations, at the Coimbra Education School of the Polytechnic University of Coimbra since 2002. She usually teaches the course units of Marketing, Communication and Advertising. She is currently coordinator of the postgraduate course in Strategic Communication for Municipalities (ESE-IPC). Teaching came after some years in Marketing departments of Portuguese companies. She holds a Bachelor of Social Communication, Advertising branch, from the University of Minho, in 1998. She holds a postgraduate course in Communication Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, with an MBA in Marketing from the Porto Business School and a Master of Business Management from the University of Porto. In 2017, she obtained her PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho, with her dissertation on the Communication of Socially Responsible Organisations.
