Joana Leite

Joana Leite holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics, specialisation in Statistics, from the University of Coimbra. She is a senior lecturer at the Coimbra Business School | ISCAC – IPC, where she lectures Mathematics, Statistics and Time Series in bachelor's and master's degrees and integrates the scientific committees of the Data Science and Analytics courses. Her published works are in Time Series Analysis and Control Charts for Time Series, recently extending to Econometric Applications. She regularly collaborates in the peer review of articles for scientific meetings and journals. Her research interests are now in Sequential Data Prediction, especially, Time Series Forecasting, with both Statistical and Machine Learning Models, and its Computational Implementation.
