Launch of the publication Marketing Religioso

Marketing Religioso is a publication coordinated by Madalena Abreu, researcher at CEOS.PP and lecturer at ISCAC. The launch will take place on 23 September at 6 p.m. in the Fausto Rocha Room, Coimbra Business School (ISCAC).

The book Marketing Religioso: Estratégias e Práticas nas Organizações Religiosas em Portugal (Religious Marketing: Strategies and Practices in Religious Organisations in Portugal), published by Editora D’Ideia, is the result of contributions from thirteen authors and is a unique work in the field of marketing in the Portuguese language. Adapted to the religious context, it is presented as a practical tool to support religious organisations in defining and implementing their strategies. It also brings together examples and success stories intended to inspire leaders, communities and institutions, promoting innovative reflection on management and communication within religious organisations.


The presentation of the work will be conducted by Pedro Dionísio and Cristóvão Monteiro.


From October onwards, new presentation sessions are planned, to be held in different locations of origin of the contributors to this work.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Editora D'Ideia, with the authors' share being donated in full to Associação Missão País, the Major Seminary of Coimbra, and the Community of the Faculty of Philosophy/AO of the Society of Jesus.
