CEOS.PP — Centre for Organisational and Social Studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto was one of the institutional partners of IO2025, the 24th edition of the APDIO Congress — Portuguese Association for Operational Research, which took place from 7 to 9 September 2025, in Amarante.
Under the theme ‘Operational Research for Sustainable Entrepreneurship,’ the event invited reflection on the contribution of science to the development of effective and responsible solutions to today's organisational, economic, and social challenges.
Recognised as the leading national forum in the field of Operational Research, the congress brought together researchers, academics, students and professionals to discuss and present theoretical, methodological and applied advances in areas such as optimisation, decision support, logistics, data science and statistical analysis. The programme included scientific sessions, sharing of best practices and networking opportunities between academia and the business sector.
With yet another partnership, CEOS.PP reinforces its commitment to applied science, knowledge transfer and the promotion of a culture of sustainable innovation. The collaboration contributed to affirming the centre's mission to promote dialogue between research, organisational practice and regional development.
