PACCDIN - Annual Plan for Short Courses in Research

CEOS.PP is promoting the 3rd edition of PACCDIN, an annual programme consisting of 15 short courses on topics essential to research.

With the aim of developing scientific culture, these courses are especially aimed at young researchers, but are open to the entire scientific community who wish to deepen their knowledge.
All courses will take place in person, in the CEOS.PP Noble Room, and online, with free participation subject to registration.
WHY PARTICIPATE IN PACCDIN?
To encourage student participation in PACCDIN and, above all, to stimulate the development of effective research and participation in scientific meetings, CEOS.PP awards ECTS credits for training hours and independent research work, as follows:
1. 1 ECTS - attendance of 28 hours of training (PACCDIN + Researcher's Coffee), with a minimum of 85% of PACCDIN training hours;
2. 2 ECTS - Training in accordance with point 1 + submission of 2 short abstracts or 1 long abstract to a journal or conference*;
3. 4 ECTS - Training in accordance with point 1 + presentation of a paper at a conference + submission of an article to a conference*;
4. 6 ECTS - Training in accordance with point 1 + acceptance of 2 papers at a conference or 1 paper in an indexed journal.
*Co-authorship with the supervisor is accepted.
