The launch of the book "Censura: o que nos falta perguntar?‘ (Censorship: What Are We Missing?), coordinated by Adalberto Fernandes, researcher at CEOS.PP, and Rita Luís (IHC), and published by Imprensa de História Contemporânea da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, took place on 30 October at Livraria Tigre de Papel bookshop in Lisbon.

Censura: o que nos falta perguntar? addresses issues in which the distinction between censorship and other forms of regulation is problematised. The book includes interviews with Nicole Moore and Robert Darnton, whose recent work contributes to a critique of censorship as a purely negative force.
The book is the result of an exploratory project funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, “CEMA – Censorship(s): an analytical model of censorship processes in the field of censorship studies in Portugal”, developed at the Institute of Contemporary History of the New University of Lisbon.
The book was presented by José Bragança de Miranda, Rector of Lusófona University, and Carla Baptista, professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
