CEOS.PP is monitoring the latest phase of the UTP and the FCEP

This new phase for UTP and FCEP also marks a time of change for the CEOS.PP research community. With the new governing and management bodies taking office at the Technical University of Porto (UTP) – the new name for the Polytechnic of Porto (IPP) – and at the Faculty of Business Sciences of Porto (FCEP) – the new name for the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP).

On 1 September, Paulo Pereira took office as Rector of UTP and Manuel Moreira da Silva assumed the role of Head of FCEP. The Faculty’s new management team also comprises Manuela Patrício, Armando Silva and Luís Silva Rodrigues as Deputy Heads, and Pedro Soares as Secretary.

The new teams taking up their posts marks a new phase in the life of UTP and FCEP and also paves the way for strengthening the link between teaching and research. For CEOS.PP, this new phase represents a renewed commitment to strengthening research and scientific collaboration, bringing together researchers, students and organisations.
