The Summer School in Digital Transformation – Organizational and Societal Dimensions, is hosted by ISCAP through its research centre Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP). A total of 15 research grants will be attending.
The project was approved by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), in collaboration with the Directorate General for Higher Education (DGES) under special regulation from the broader programme “Summer with Science”.
The Summer School in Digital Transformation – Organizational and Societal Dimensions will be developed by CEOS.PP together with the help from undergraduate, masters and post-graduation programmes lectured at ISCAP.
The initiative is promoted by a group of senior researchers, coordinated by Manuel Moreira da Silva, and falls within the scope of CEOS.PP's mission to promote the research and encourage integrated initiatives in R&D and higher education, in a way to provide greater opportunities for transferring scientific knowledge to Portuguese society.
Structurally, it is intended to stimulate applied research, in articulation and direct interaction with organisations that face challenges in their work processes and business models in the context of the digital transformation of society, namely, in a post-COVID reality.
