The MIGAP - Migration in Porto project is promoted by the Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies of the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) of the University of Lisbon, UMAIA and ISCAP.
Given the expressiveness and diversity of migrants living in Greater Porto, the MIGAP project began with an initial study "Migratory trends in Porto: an exploratory analysis", the aim of which is to characterise the profiles of migrants living in Greater Porto and understand their experiences and integration challenges.
In partnership with higher education institutions, non-governmental organisations and public institutions, the study will collect data from migrants in the Greater Porto area.
The study will be presented to the public on 15 May at 4.30pm via Zoom.
