Teachers Ana Paula Lopes and Filomena Soares, along with trainee Beatriz Pereira, organised the "Open Challenges 4U2" activity as part of the MatActiva Promotion of learning in Mathematics project, for which they created various interactive materials aimed at conveying the main aspects of the logic challenges in a clear and engaging way and set up various activities on the Quizizz platform.
The aim of this activity was not only to raise awareness of the MatActiva Project, but also to promote the development of critical thinking, improve logical problem-solving skills, stimulate creativity, foster persistence and resilience, and encourage collaboration and teamwork among secondary school students.
There was a strong response and interest from all the participants who visited the ISCAP stand.
