RCEJ launches a new edition focusing on the challenges of work

The Journal of Business and Legal Sciences (RCEJ) has published its 34th issue, bringing together seven articles that address different aspects of the contemporary challenges facing work, organisations and society.

Part of CEOS.PP since its foundation in 2004, the RCEJ is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that promotes a multidisciplinary approach to the transformations shaping the world of work.

The new issue brings together contributions from different fields and contexts, reflecting the thematic diversity that characterises the journal. Among the published articles are studies on the experiences of immigrant women from Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP) in domestic work, identity in family businesses, the transformation of work through increasing project-based work, the role of mentoring in social mobility, the relationship between taxation and labour inequality, social entrepreneurship among Portuguese students, and interventions with children and young people at risk.

More than simply bringing together different themes, issue no. 34 reinforces the RCEJ’s commitment to a critical and interdisciplinary analysis of the changes affecting work and organisations, drawing on contributions from the social sciences, management, economics and law.

This new issue also marks a step towards strengthening the journal’s internationalisation and scientific visibility, through the expansion of academic networks, publication in different languages and ongoing investment in the quality of editorial and peer-review processes.
