Scope of the CEOS.PP's StoSS project
It is available a Research Grant (745 EUR/month) for a Bachelor in Engineering, Economics, Management, Business Sciences, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar areas, in the scope of the Project "StoSS - Sectorization to Simplify and Solve".
The work will be developed at CEOS.PP - ISCAP - Polytechnic of Porto, under guidance of the Professor Isabel Cristina Lopes. It is possible to conciliate with the Masters studies.
The call will be open will be open from 14th to 31st of December 2018.

The project’s main objective is the broad study of Sectorisation Problems (PS) and the development of a decision support system that can facilitate the decision making process concerning sectorisation. The PS are frequently related to geographic questions dividing one big region into smaller regions respecting specific conditions. Examples are the division of a region into political districts, sales territories or areas for health care and policing, collection of solid urban waste or street cleaning, location of schools and maintenance operations.
