ISCAP was visited by Professor John Ferguson (University of St Andrews) on 11 June for the Research Seminar 'The In-Betweeners: Examining the role and impact of external experts and expertise under the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights'.
Professor John Ferguson's visit was part of an initiative developed by professors Teresa Fernandes, João Oliveira and Manuel Castelo Branco from FEP-UP; and José Vale, Ana Maria Bandeira and Cláudia Teixeira from ISCAP-IPP.
This event was part of FEP-UP's Doctoral Seminars in Management and the activities developed by CEOS.PP, and was also shared with the academic community in general.
John Ferguson shared his research on 'Corporate Accountability for Human Rights', exploring emerging themes in the field of human rights, their relationship with organisations and business, inspiring and captivating an audience with a diverse background, particularly in the areas of economics, management, accounting and law.
During his visit, Professor John Ferguson had the opportunity to meet with members of both institutions, stimulating networking and collaboration in the fields of research and knowledge transfer. Here are some of those moments.
